always pleassant to walk into the office, friendly staff, hygenists and Dr. Merrett is funny annd puts you at ease. Always have a great experience and I really don't like going to the dentist.

August 7, 2011 1:30 AMAs my new dentist on Maui, I have nothing but compliments for the staff, the experience, the comfort and the excellence in delivering professional care. The consideration of my insurance coverage was also extremely efficient! In general, you are made to feel a part of a family and I would highly recommend this office for its professional yet warm ambience. Don't put off your dental care, go and see them! :)

From the reception area to the chair we have never been so pleased with dental care! Maui Smiles is our favorite dentist on Maui, without a doubt. Dr Merrett and his team leave you with a calm easy going vibe, yet professional. It is hard to find a dentist you can trust. Thank you Maui Smiles :-D

TRUST is the single word to describe my experience in the hands of Dr.Merrett. I do not experience anxiety or dread about going to my appointment or while I am sitting in the chair having major work done. I have only had this confidence in this particular dentist. I am 67 years old & have lived many places and been in many different dental offices. I recommend Dr James Merrett 100%.

I am really impressed by the staff and Dr. Merritt.These folks are all around kind and gentle.Dr. Merritt is without the usual "ego" I see with successful folks.This guy loves his work and his patients .

Needed emergency cavity repair and it was my first visit with Dr. Merrett. I was astonished how quickly he repaired the cavity compared to my prior dentist. What a pleasant surprise.

Jenna did a great job. She explains everything as she goes along. I am a nervous patient and she reassures you the entire way through.

I have never said good before describing any visit to a dentist office but my cleaning today by the hygienist was a pleasant experience. She had a careful, gentle manner and a very accurate command of her instruments. Thank you!

I WAS NOT TO HAPPY WITH MY TEETH WHITENING RESULTS. MY TOP TEETH WERE OK,BUT NOT REALLY HAPPY.. MY BOTTOM TEETH WERE STILL YELLOW. NOT HAPPY AT ALL FOR THE PRICE I PAID CASH OF $575.63 TO HAVE DONE, FOR MY WEDDING IN AUG,13 2011....... BUT I DO HAVE TO SAY I DO HAVE A WONDERFUL DR, JAMES MERRETT,DDS. IM VERY HAPPY WITH HIM FOR ALL MY GENERAL DENTISTRY. I FEEL HE IS THE BEST ON MAUI..VICTORIA KLINGMAN

It went well. Feeling a little more comfortable with Jennifer. Sometimes I feel more on the shy side because I don't like the feeling of being scolded. She did say that I am doing better, but still feels a bit discouraging.
Wisdom Tooth Pulled-Quick, Painless, Easy

I had my wisdom tooth pulled and was provided pre-removal information, a quick, painless, easy procedure and the information I needed for post event. I have a follow-up next week and expect that all has gone well. Dr. Merrett do great work and I always experience, compassionate, attending patient care. Thank you.

Great experience, the tooth worked on was soar/loose from all the grinding vibration, but it is fine now. It is no longer hyper-sensitive like before, and the bite is perfect.

EXCELLENT WORK DONE BY MY HYGIENIST TO CLEAN MY TEETH. SHE PAYS GREAT ATTENTION TO DETAIL. THIS WAS FOLLOWED BY A VERY ACCOMMODATING DR MERRETT, WHO WORKED ME IN TO FILL A SMALL HOLE IN ONE OF MY VENEERS. THE GOOD DR WAS THOROUGH AND ATTENTIVE TO MY NEEDS. THE CORRECTED VENEER IS PERFECT!
